General Terms and Conditions for the Online Sale of Products and Services of Orhideea Health & Spa Center
The seller of the products and services / provider of the services is Fundația pentru Sănătate Orhideea Spa, headquartered in Bucharest, 145B Calea Plevnei, SPA, District 6, authorized under the public judgment issued in Case File No. 275/PJ/1996 registered with the District 2 Court, having tax identification number RO9347586, telephone: 021.56.96.555, e-mail: info@orhideeaspa.ro, registered as a personal data controller, acting as the operator of the Orhideea Health & Spa Center, hereinafter also referred to as OH&S.
Conditions for the Online Sale of Membership Cards and Monthly Access
The online sale of products and services of Orhideea Spa Center is subject to the legal provisions governing the distance sale of goods and services.
The following terms shall have the following meanings:
Member – an individual over 16 years of age or a group of individuals over 16 years of age who are registered exclusively as members of the Orhideea Health & Spa health center (OH&S);
Membership Card – a document certifying membership of the OHS center. The Membership Card is non-transferable. The Membership Card is valid for 365 days, between the dates specified in Chapter III. The Membership Card shall be activated within a maximum of 30 days from the date of purchase, with the start date being specified by the Member. The validity period of the Membership Card may not be interrupted, postponed or suspended, and its value may not be offset against other services or products;
Individual Membership Card – a Membership Card issued for a single individual who is an OHS Member. Only one named card shall be issued. The standard fee for the Individual Membership Card is EUR 350, converted at the National Bank of Romania (BNR) exchange rate applicable on the payment date, with all taxes included;
Family Membership Card – a Membership Card for a family consisting of two adults, their children and one accompanying person (grandparent/nanny/person caring for the children). Each family member shall receive a Membership Card, except for children under 16 years of age.
Under normal circumstances, except for certain time-limited special situations (legal restrictions regarding the number of users of the facilities, technical works, etc.), Members shall have unlimited access to the areas of the center during the center's operating hours, depending on the type of membership purchased. Children and the accompanying person shall have limited access between 7:00 and 20:00, and on Sundays between 9:00 and 20:00 (last admission at 19:00), only in the swimming pool area.
The accompanying person shall have access only when accompanied by the children under their care. The identity of the accompanying person shall be specified in the agreement and may not be changed more than twice within a 12-month period.
The standard fee for the Family Membership Card is EUR 500, converted at the National Bank of Romania (BNR) exchange rate applicable on the payment date, with all taxes included;
Monthly Access – the right of access for four consecutive weeks, during operating hours, to the Orhideea Spa health center or the Orhideea Sport center. The four-week period begins on the date on which the Monthly Access is activated.
Members shall have unlimited access to the areas of the center, depending on the type of membership purchased, while children and the accompanying person shall have limited access during Happy Hours and, on Sundays, between 9:00 and 19:00 (last admission at 18:00), only in the swimming pool area.
The accompanying person (nanny) shall have access only when accompanied by the children under their care. The identity of the accompanying person (nanny) shall be specified in the agreement and may not be changed more than twice within a 12-month period.
All Inclusive – monthly or daily access providing access to all areas of the center. This program is intended for adults only;
Active – monthly or daily access providing access to the kinesitherapy / fitness area, swimming pool area and the “Fire & Ice” area (saunas);
Happy Hours – the period from Monday to Friday between 7:00 and 18:00 (last admission at 17:00);
Full Time – the period from Monday to Friday between 7:00 and 22:00 (last admission at 21:00), and on Sundays between 9:00 and 22:00 (last admission at 21:00).
By paying the Membership Card at either the standard or promotional rate, the purchaser pays for registration as a member of the Orhideea Health & Spa Center for a period of one year, including periods during which the center is closed.
The standard Membership Card fee also includes All Inclusive access (kinesitherapy / fitness, swimming pool, jacuzzi, saunas, salt room, relaxation area, tepidarium) for a period of four weeks.
In the case of certain offers, upon payment for the Membership Card, customers receive four weeks of complimentary All Inclusive access to the Orhideea Spa health center, allowing them to familiarize themselves with the center's facilities and make a decision regarding the access plan they will subsequently purchase.
The complimentary period begins at the same time as the Membership Card is activated, but no later than 30 days from the date of purchase of the Membership Card.
Following the expiry of the complimentary period, Members shall pay a monthly or daily access fee for the areas and facilities they wish to use at the Orhideea Spa health center. The monthly and daily access fees are available in the following section:
“Spa Center Membership Plans”
After purchasing a Membership Card, the card must be activated within a maximum of 30 days. If the Member does not specify an activation date within this 30-day period, the activation date shall be deemed to be the date of purchase.
By purchasing a Membership Card or Monthly Access either online or at the provider's premises, the customer expressly declares that they understand and agree to comply with:
the center's Internal Rules and Regulations, as well as the terms and conditions of the Membership Agreement and the Monthly Access Agreement. The contractual terms applicable to the Membership Agreement and Monthly Access Agreement can be found in the “Terms and Conditions” section.
The Customer has the right to notify Fundația pentru Sănătate Orhideea Spa in writing that they wish to withdraw from the purchase, without penalties and without having to provide a reason, within 14 business days from payment of the Membership Card, which shall be deemed to be the date on which the agreement was concluded, provided that the Customer has not used the services purchased.
If the Customer has used the services purchased remotely, i.e. has benefited from the facilities of the health center, the Customer shall pay for the services used at the standard rates applicable to non-members, available in the section “Non-Member Access Fees.”
After the expiry of the 14-day period from the date of payment / the date on which the agreement enters into force, the Customer may no longer unilaterally terminate the Membership Agreement.
The validity period of the Membership Card and Monthly Access may not be suspended.
Method of Purchasing Membership Cards
The channels through which Membership Cards may be purchased and the available payment methods are as follows:
- Purchase at the reception desk of Orhideea Spa Center. The reception desk operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Payment may be made in cash or by bank card. The fiscal receipt, invoice and Membership Agreement, to be signed by both parties in duplicate, shall be issued on the spot. Presentation of an identity document is required for the issuance of the Membership Card.
- Purchase by e-mail, at: rezervari@orhideeaspa.ro / info@orhideeaspa.ro. The following information is required in order to issue the Membership Agreement: the full name of the Membership Card beneficiary, telephone number, e-mail address, personal identification number (CNP) and address.
Payment may be made by bank card through a secure payment link or by bank transfer based on a pro forma invoice, in which case payment confirmation is required.
The Membership Agreement shall be issued after the funds have been credited to the account of Fundația pentru Sănătate Orhideea Spa. Following purchase, upon their first visit to the health center, the Beneficiary is required to sign the Membership Agreement at the center's reception desk.
- Online purchase, via the website www.orhideeaspa.ro, by completing the online purchase form and making payment through the Gecad Payment (PayU) platform.
Following payment, the Orhideea Spa team will contact you to request additional information regarding the beneficiary of the Membership Card (if different from the person making the payment), the date on which the Membership Agreement is to enter into force, etc.
- As a general rule, we will send the invoice related to the Order for the Products sold/delivered electronically by e-mail. Due to the filters used by webmail services (Yahoo, Gmail, etc.), our response may be delivered to your SPAM folder. Please also check this folder.

Conditions for the Online Sale of Gift Cards
The following terms shall have the following meanings:
Gift Card – a document certifying payment for medical / relaxation services at the Orhideea Spa health center. The services are predefined and are valid for six months from the date of purchase.
If the card is not used during its validity period, the service cannot be refunded. The value of the Gift Card cannot be exchanged for cash. The Gift Card is unique and cannot be replaced in the event of loss or damage.
Gift Cards are transferable and may be personalized with the name of the person who will benefit from the purchased services.
Following the online purchase and payment of Gift Cards, the beneficiary may collect the printed card from the center's reception desk or may receive an electronic Gift Card by e-mail at an address provided at the time of purchase.
The Customer has the right to notify Fundația pentru Sănătate Orhideea Spa in writing that they wish to withdraw from the purchase, without penalties and without having to provide a reason, within 14 business days from payment for the Gift Card, which shall be deemed to be the activation date of the Gift Card, provided that the Customer has not used the services purchased.
After the expiry of the 14-day period from the date of payment / the activation date of the Gift Card, the Customer may no longer withdraw from the services purchased.
Method of Purchasing Gift Cards
The channels through which Gift Cards may be purchased and the available payment methods are as follows:
- Purchase at the reception desk of Orhideea Spa Center. The reception desk operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Payment may be made in cash or by bank card. The fiscal receipt, invoice and Gift Card shall be issued on the spot.
If the beneficiary of the Gift Card is different from the person who made the payment, the following information regarding the beneficiary is required: first name, last name, e-mail address and telephone number, which are necessary for scheduling the therapies.
- Purchase by e-mail, at: rezervari@orhideeaspa.ro / info@orhideeaspa.ro. The following information is required in order to issue the Gift Card: first name, last name, telephone number and e-mail address of both the beneficiary and the person making the payment.
Payment may be made by bank card through a secure payment link or by bank transfer based on a pro forma invoice, in which case payment confirmation is required.
The Gift Card shall be issued after the funds have been credited to the account of Fundația pentru Sănătate Orhideea Spa (this rule applies only to payments made by bank transfer).
The Gift Card may be collected from the reception desk or received by e-mail in electronic format.
- Online purchase, directly from the website www.orhideeaspa.ro, by completing the online purchase form and making payment through the GecadPayment (PayU) platform.
Following e-mail confirmation of the transaction, the Orhideea Health & Spa team will contact you to request additional information regarding the beneficiary of the Gift Card (if different from the person making the payment), the preferred method of receiving the Gift Card and any other information necessary to complete the order.
- As a general rule, we will send the invoice related to the Order for the Products sold/delivered electronically by e-mail. Due to the filters used by webmail services (Yahoo, Gmail, etc.), our response may be delivered to your SPAM folder. Please also check this folder.
